Today we are looking at two bathrooms that make use of contrast in their designs:
The one on the left is dark and moody. A gorgeous slate paint color is balanced by a crisp white subway tile on the lower third of the wall. It is totally okay to use dark colors in smaller rooms, by the way. You just want to make sure to provide some contrast, as to not overwhelm the space. Dark flooring and a walnut vanity keep the interior masculine while the accessories lend a woodsy vibe. If this room had a signature scent, I'm pretty sure it would be Spruce Flannel or something like that.
The bathroom on the right is a stark contrast from the room on the left. The marble installation on the walls provides visual interest while keeping the space light and airy. I love the contrast of the matte black fixtures, too. I don't really have anything else to say about this one, except that I'll take my bath with a side of champagne, please.
Do you like this or that? Sound off in the comments below.
I'm not telling which one's my fave.
P.S. It's because I like both.
